Annual Events

• FEMALE CANCER SCREENING
  
  FEMALE CANCER SCREENING is scheduled for TBA at Dr. Ingrassia-Squiers office for all New Jersey residents. Testing will occur from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Appointments are required. Please contact the Public Health Nurse at the Health Department at 908-876-3650
  
  
• FLU SHOT CLINIC
  
  The annual flu shot clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Washington Township Municipal Building - Main Meeting Room at 43 Schooley's Mountain Road, Long Valley. The clinic is open to all Washington Township residents 18 years of age and older. The fee will be announced.
  
  Pregnant women must bring a note from their physician to receive the inoculation. Inoculations will be provided until the supply runs out. Residents who participate in the Medicare Part B Health program must come into the Washington Township Health Department at the Municipal Building to pre-register.
  
  
• ADULT HEALTH SCREENING (SMAC)
  
  The Annual Adult Health Screening Clinic is scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM for all New Jersey residents at the Long Valley First Aid Squad, 70 East Mill Road. Pre-registration is required to participate. There is a fee. participants must come into the Washington Township Health Department at the Municipal Building to pre-register.
  
  
• Free Rabies Clinic for Dogs and Cats for all NJ residents
  
  Saturday November 03, 2012 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM or while there are rabies vaccine doses. The clinic will be held at the Washington Township Department of Public Works Facility at 54 Rock Road. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be crated. Any NJ resident is welcome to attend.
  
  
• SCHOOL IMMUNIZATION AUDITS
  
  School Immunization Audits occur January to March, for the kindergarten to 5th grades in four schools, the sixth to eight grades in the Long Valley Middle school, the ninth to twelfth grades in the West Morris Central High School, four local Nursery schools and in three local Day Care centers.   Located at the Senior Center in Rock Spring Park on the 3rd Tuesday of the month between 10:30AM-12:00PM.
  
  
• BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING
  Located at the Long Valley Pharmacy on the 4th Thursday of the month between 12:30PM- 2:30PM.

Every Other Month

• CHILD HEALTH CLINIC
  Located at the Long Valley Presbyterian Church on Bartley Road, on the first Thursday of every EVEN MONTH between 9:00AM and 11:00AM. Well Baby Visits only!! Appointments required. Please contact the Public Health Nurse at the Health Department at 908-876-3650.
