
The Morris County Department of Public Works in
conjunction with the NJTPA and NJDOT will be holding a public
information meeting to discuss the effects of the replacement
of the Newburgh Road Bridge over Musconetcong River.
The bridge
spans the border between Washington Township, Morris County and
Mansfield Township, Warren County. The public information meeting
will serve as a combined public information meeting for both
municipalities. The meeting is in conformance with NEPA requirements.
The meeting is open to all members of the public and will be
held on:
- Date: Monday, October 22, 2007
- Time: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
- Location: Washington Township Municipal Building
43 Schooley's Mountain Road, Long Valley, NJ
The proposed project includes the construction of a new bridge
and an improved roadway alignment.
Traffic will be detoured during
the construction of the new bridge. The purpose of this meeting
is to discuss the limits of reconstruction for the project and
the impacts to the environment and cultural resources which adjoin
the project site.
