Enclosed you will find the presently scheduled dates for the controlled deer hunt within the Morris County Park Commission. These land parcels may be within and/or contiguous to your town borders and this notification is for your information. The parks will be closed to all but permit holding hunters on the firearm dates (shotgun only). Several locations have been selected for bow hunting and those parks will remain open during these times. All hunters are required to have a special permit issued by the Morris County Park Police in their possession while engaged in hunting.

If you have any questions or concerns I may be contacted at 973-326-7632 during the hours of 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please pass this information onto anybody within your municipality that requires a notification for their planning.
