WHERAS,
Betty Bidelman became a resident of Washington Township municipality when she and Bob, her husband, purchased their home located on Old Farmers Road on January 12, 1976. Betty was employed by Washington Township on November 9, 1992, after Kathy, their daughter, reached the age to attend Old Farmers Road School; and
WHEREAS,
Betty’s present appointments include Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Board and Committee Coordinator, Deputy Registrar, and Deputy Dog Licensing Official. Betty is gifted with a natural ability to handle a multi-faceted position with the grace and the ease of a true professional. Her vast knowledge of the interactions of our community is instrumental as she gracefully welcomes, answers questions, and offers direction to those who visit the municipal building.
WHEREAS, Betty’s positive personality has touched each of us. Her keen sense of humor has made the most challenging of workdays surprisingly fun! Betty is a dedicated employee, a loyal friend, and a true asset of our municipality and the community.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the
Washington Township Committee of Morris County, New Jersey,
on behalf of the employees and the citizens of Washington Township, honor Betty Bidelman for fifteen years of outstanding service to Washington Township. And, although the dogs and cats of Washington Township would give their “right paws” to keep her, we wish Betty happiness, joy, and “blue skies” as she and Bob travel through their years of retirement.
