The Township of Washington, “County of Morris” is proposing to utilize township owned property consisting of 6.8 acres, formerly known as Peter Carroll Field, located on Block 34, Lot 2, Fairmount Road, County Route 517 as a dog park facility.
The public is invited to comment on this proposed use at a Public Hearing to be held on February 19, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at the Municipal Building located at 43 Schooley’s Mountain Road, Long Valley, New Jersey or by sending their written comments on the proposed use of this property as a dog park to Washington Township Municipal Offices, 43 Schooley’s Mountain Road, Long Valley, New Jersey 07853 along with a copy to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Green Acres Program, Bureau of Legal Services and Stewardship, P. O. Box 412, Trenton, New Jersey 08625-0412.
The public comment period will end on February 28, 2007.
