The
2006 Reorganization Meeting for the Washington Township Committee
was a well attended event.
A newcomer to the Committee, Mr
Kevin Nedd, the first independent elected to the committee in
many years, was sworn in with two daughters at his side. Later
in the meeting the Washington Township Committee elected Tracy
Tobin to the position of Mayor.
Fire Department
and First Aid Officers were administered the oath of office
by Township Administrator Diane Gallets. Refreshments and conversation
followed the meeting.
