The Washington Township Shade Tree Committee has five members and is assigned a Committe Member as a liason. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month at the Municipal Building.

SHADE TREE COMMITTEE
The role of the Shade Tree Committee is to act in an advisory capacity to the Planning Board. Some of the duties of the Committee are reviewing plats of proposed development projects, recommending shade trees to be planted and replacing dead trees along township streets.
