The purpose of the Washington Township Website is to provide the residents, and our business community, with accurate and current information about our community. It is the hope of the Township Committee and the Township Administration that the site will effectively promote Washington Township, and provide unbiased information to all.

We are interested in your reaction and evaluation to the site. Please drop us an e-mail with comments, complaints and suggestions. While we will try to be responsive, in reality we can't incorporate every suggestion. We will incorporate those suggestions we deem useful and informative. Ideally, you will see your suggestion expressed on the site.

We welcome constructive criticism. If we post innacurrate information, make a factual error, or if there is a grammar or spelling error in our text, please let us know and we will make every effort to correct the mistake in a timely manner.

Information posted here cannot be either political or commercial in nature. We will highlight the presence of members of our cultural, religious, public service and business community. The Township Committee and Administrator are the arbiters of what is posted. If there is information you believe would make this site even better, please let us know.

Images are captured with a Canon PowerShot SD100. All images are the property of the Township of Washington, and are copyrighted. The images are manipulated with both Jasc's Paint Shop Pro V8.0 and Macromedia's Fireworks MX. Occasionally, we use Adobe Photoshop V6.0 for some extra polish. Downloadable documents (pdf's) are created using either Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional or Open Office V1.1. Macromedia's Dreamweaver is the primary HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) composer/editor. Both a simple text editor and and ACE Html 5 are used.
