The Washington Township Food Pantry is a division of ICOWTA (Interfaith Community Outreach of the Washington Township Area). ICOWTA was established in 1996 and its membership is composed of Deacons and concerned members from 10 area churches and other club and business organizations. It is funded in part from their Annual Christmas Wreath Fundraiser during the Holiday Season and by generous donations.

The ICOWTA oversees the Washington Township Food Pantry and assists with food collections, food drives, volunteer staffing, monetary donations and holiday food baskets for townspeople in need. The Food Pantry is located at 39 Bartley Road at the Long Valley Presbyterian Church. All currently dated non-perishable food donations are accepted for drop-off at the Long Valley Presbyterian Church between 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM Monday through Friday. The Food Pantry asks that food donations are not left outside the building.

The Food Pantry is normally open to clients every Monday from 10 AM to noon, and in the evening from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM every first and third week of the month. The Food Pantry welcomes all food drives, monetary donations and grocery gift cards. Call the Long Valley Presbyterian Church at (908) 876-3471 with any questions or interests in volunteering.
